Ailbhe Ní Ghearbhuigh has published two collections in Irish, Péacadh (Coscéim, 2008) and Tost agus Allagar (Coscéim, 2016). Her most recent collection, The Coast Road, features her poems translated by thirteen poets including Vona Groarke, Paul Muldoon and Medbh McGuckian. Ní Ghearbhuigh's poem, 'Filleadh ar an gCathari', was chosen as Ireland's EU Presidency Poem in 2013 and was shorlisted in 2015 for RTÉ's 'A Poem for Ireland'. Having grown up in an Irish-speaking family in Kerry she has taught in France and as a Fulbright scholar in New York. She now lives in Cork.
