Kathy D'Arcy

Kathy D’Arcy published a chapbook, Encounter, with Lapwing in 2010. She has worked as a doctor and teacher, and is currently involved in working with homeless teenagers in Cork. D’Arcy runs writing courses for people of all ages and abilities with UCC ACE, and teaches on the MA in Women’s Studies there. The poetry ensemble of which she is a member, Catch the Moon, has performed at literary festivals around the country. She is currently writer in residence with Tigh Filí. Her first full-length collection, The Wild Pupil (Bradshaw), was published in 2012.
