Steven Heighton is a poet and fiction writer, as well as a reviewer for the New York Times Book Review.  His poems and stories have appeared in the LRB, London Magazine, Poetry (Chicago), Best American Poetry, TLR, Best English Stories, Revue Europe, and The Independent.  His novel Afterlands (Penguin, 2007) was cited on “best of year” lists in ten publications in the UK, the USA, and Canada, where he lives. His latest book is a poetry collection, The Waking Comes Late.
